A hockey program for kids and adults with developmental disabilities, ages 8-adult.

San Diego Gulls Special Hockey is an athlete-centered hockey program for children and adults with developmental disabilities. The goal is to build confidence and promote a sense of community through a full hockey experience of practice and skill development, playing games and traveling to tournaments. We are guided by the values of good sportsmanship, honesty, and respect for all individuals and our hope is that our athletes have a lifetime of playing and competing in hockey.

San Diego Gulls Special Hockey practices weekly September April. We currently attend one tournament in California annually, but our goal is to attend a travel tournament someday. We have a dedicated group of coaches that teach hockey fundamentals and most of all FUN! We have a wide range of abilities, come try it out!

We rely on donations to keep our program low-cost for families and to help pay for tournament fees, equipment and ice time. We are a registered 501(3)c non-profit. Thank you!
